We have evenflo stroller. I think it is apart of the auro line. It has the one handle steering. I was wondering can any evenflo car seat snap in to that stoller or do I need to by a special carseat made for that stroller?

I am having trouble looking for a snap and go stroller for the brand even flo. can someone help me find something?

The snap and go's can hold any brand of carseat.

I found one at wal-mart.com that I didn’t really care for, do you have any ideas? Anything would help! Thanks in advance!

meaning how old do they have to be or weight/height requirements to be out of a carseat/booster seat by federal law?

Ҥ 102.1. Purpose.
(a) Section 4581 of the act (relating to restraint systems) requires all children under 8 years of age traveling anywhere in a passenger car, Class I truck, Class II truck, classic motor vehicle, antique motor vehicle or motor home be fastened securely in a child passenger restraint system or child booster seat.
(b) Section 4581 also provides that exemptions will be allowed if it is determined, according to the rules and regulations of the Department, that the use of a child passenger restraint system or child booster seat would be impractical for physical reasons including, but not limited to, medical reasons or the size of the child.
(c) This chapter establishes the criteria determining when use of a child passenger restraint system is impractical.
§ 102.2. Definitions.
The following words and terms, when used in this chapter, have the following meanings, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:

Act—75 Pa.C.S. § § 101—9910 (relating to Vehicle Code).

Child booster seat—A child passenger restraint system or a belt positioning seat designed and manufactured to meet Federal motor vehicle safety standards in 49 CFR 571.213 (relating to child restraint systems) to position a child to properly sit in a Federally-approved safety seat belt system.

Child passenger restraint system—A device or system to enhance the safety of children in motor vehicles which is designed and manufactured for use in motor vehicles equipped with a safety seat belt system and which meets the Federal motor vehicle safety standards in 49 CFR 571.213.

Department—The Department of Transportation of the Commonwealth.
§ 102.3. Physical criteria for use of child passenger restraint system.
(a) General criteria. Children under 4 years of age shall be securely fastened in a safety seat belt system and a child passenger restraint system appropriate for their height and weight in accordance with the recommendations of the manufacturer. Children 4 years of age but younger than 8 years of age shall be securely fastened in a safety seat belt system and an appropriately fitting child booster seat in accordance with the recommendations of the manufacturer.
(b) Exemption based on child’s weight or height, or on vehicle characteristics. Exemption from the general criteria in subsection (a) shall be as follows:
(1) Children 4 years of age but younger than 8 years of age who weigh less than 40 pounds may, in lieu of use of a booster seat, be securely fastened in a child safety seat or other child passenger restraint system appropriate for their height and weight in accordance with the recommendations of the manufacturer.
(2) Children 4 years of age but younger than 8 years of age riding in a passenger position in the vehicle which was not originally equipped with a shoulder safety seat belt shall be fastened in the safety seat belt system without the use of a child booster seat and may be fastened in a child passenger restraint system appropriate for their height and weight in accordance with the recommendations of the manufacturer.
(3) Children 4 years of age but younger than 8 years of age who weigh more than 80 pounds or who are of a height of 4 feet 9 inches or taller may be fastened in the safety seat belt system without the use of a child booster seat.
§ 102.4. Medical exemption from use of child passenger restraint system.
(a) Exemption from the use of a child passenger restraint system for medical reasons may be obtained upon written certification by a physician that use of a child passenger restraint system is impractical. The certification shall be made on a form developed by the Department which shall requires the following information:
(1) The physician’s name and practice address.
(2) The date the form was completed.
(3) The name, age and weight of the child.
(4) The medical or physical reasons that the use of a particular child passenger restraint system or systems is impractical.
(5) A recommendation of the type of restraint the child should be fastened into or a statement that no appropriate restraint system is known.
(6) A recommendation regarding the length of time the exemption should extend, or a statement of the conditions under which the exemption should be lifted.
(7) Other information deemed relevant by the physician, such as whether the child can be fastened into the child passenger restraint system but for only limited periods of time.
(b) The completed form shall be in the possession of the vehicle operator whenever the child is being transported.

my daughter is 7months and she is too big for her car seat she when can she use the one where it faces the front?
must i add she is 19 lbs at 7months so um yea can i use it now or do u recommened me to wait until 1yr old?

Babies do not use boosters, heck toddlers do not use boosters.

Try buying a convertible car seat and keep it facing rear. Facing front is just not that safe at all even for a toddler.

Easy to install, not too fancy, easy to switch. High belt slots for maximum use. Super easy to tighten and loosen. Some can be hard, but this one is a breeze.

My son has used this seat rear facing since he was 4 months old, he is now 16 months and 25 pounds with plenty of room to grow in the rear facing position. I hated using the infant seat. He still had plenty of room in it, don't get me wrong, but it was just so uncomfortable for him. The convertible seat is bigger and had more padding. You do not have to use an infant seat until a certain age anyways, as long as the seat is rear facing. We payed $130.00.

You tube has videos of real people doing reviews too if you want to check that out. Do not buy a 5 lbs to 100 lbs type with booster and all, SUCH A WAIST! They are like "to good to be true" type seat.

The safest seat it one that is properly installed. I suggest getting whatever seat you do choose professionally installed by a car seat tech. Even if you think you know everything you need to know about installing your seat, there is plenty more to learn. I went 2 times and learned more each time.

The "law" for minimum age and weight is 20 pounds AND 12 months, but that is the bare minimum and research shows that is still NOT safe. There is nothing wrong with a rear facing toddler.

Rear facing as long as possible is best.

Don't be the one who uses, "His legs are squished," as an excuse. Broken legs are much better than a decapitated baby.

I understand that booster seats are for older kids, but some look so padded you could put a 7 or 8 month old in them! Do I have to buy both? What if I got a really padded booster seat, can I use that as a toddler seat?

Toddler seats and infant seats have 5 point harnesses Booster seats do not they just use the regular car seat belt., some do have backs. Better helps to protect against wiplash.They do make seats with 5 point harnesses that can be made into booster seats by removing the harness. It is best and safest to keep a child in a 5 point harness as long as possible, as it is the safest in a accident. In fact they even make 5 point harnesses for children over 40 pounds(the weight limit for a toddler car seat) You cannot put a child under 40 pounds in a booster seat. It is not safe.

I have already purchased the ticket for my 20 month old and called the airline to confirm, but I have read on the internet that a carseat must be 16 inches or less and mine is over that. But it does say that it is approved for air travel. If anyone has traveled with this particular seat please let me know. Thanks so much.

If it is FAA approved, to my knowledge, they can not tell you no. But it may affect where they seat you. They don't let car seats stick out into aisles or in front of exits. They will likely try and put it next to a window so it won't be in anyone's way. There are seats out there that are wider than it than are used all the time - Britax Marathon and Roundabout. The MArathon is 19inches wide, and the Roundabout is 18.5inches. If they won't let you use it, I'd raise a stink. Show them the label that it has already been approved. Get there early and see if they will let you 'preboard' so you can install the seat before everyone else gets on the plane. Once its installed, you get off and board with everyone else when its time. Makes things a lot easier if its possible to do.

i want to see if this car seat i have is still safe or not. it was my sisters but she never used it. it serial number is 02442pri and manufactured on 04-23-99. it says its a cosco but i can't find their website anywhere!

I just looked up that number you gave, and it said there were no safety notices for that model. So im assuming that would mean it is still safe.

is it a good carseat for the money? please tell me your thoughts ..my baby is almost 20lbs at 6 1/2 months old and her feet are hanging out of the infant carseat.
